We have the SWORD of the spirit to use whenever we get into trouble. As God’s children there are many of us who know nothing about this. It is the Saving Word=SWORD.
There is a movie called ‘The Never Ending Story’. A book appears with a great big eye right on the front cover. All I could imagine was that everything in between the covers of that book was supposed to be alive. When I started getting into the Bible to see what was in there I discovered that it was alive but in a real way.
Be careful not to judge a book by its cover. I did. Everytime I would walk by our family Bible I would look at it and think to myself, “I’ll do you later!” I just didn’t understand it. Sometimes, I would even move it when I had to polish the table. But when I would stop to pick it up and actually look inside I would get frustrated and say, “I don’t get this.” I would then put it or throw it back down. It was kind of sacred to me but I didn’t even know why.
I don’t want that to be the case for you. The Bible is living. The word itself will cut through crap and get to the heart of the matter to help you. It is alive. I know how weird that sounds but nevertheless it is true. I am going to attempt to teach you how to use the saving word and your mouth to defeat your foes while you are still here on this earth.
