My Lord
My Lord, My Lord? When it’s all said and done and I come home to lay down my crown….what will be my eternity?
When I finally gaze into the eyes that knew me before I was born in my mother’s womb what will I bring for you?
My Lord? My Lord? What will be my eternity?
My God and King?
When it’s all said and done, what then?
Will you say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant?”
Will we walk together in the sun?
Will we sit together on the bench along the glassy sea as I lay my head on the breast that took care of me; will we read together? What then my Lord?
Eternity is forever, My Lord; time will no longer exist….I can hardly imagine what it will be like to finally see but I can dream.
When I gaze up into the eyes that I have loved so Deeply and knew me before I was born; when it’s all said and done…what will I bring to You to lay before your feet My Lord?
When I come home once again to be with Thee, for eternity…..My Lord.
