Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

Luke 11:9   So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Yes.    In the beginning of my walk with the Lord, I stood in the middle of my room and I claimed one million dollars for myself.  I felt that if I just had one million dollars, my life would get fixed.  I could take care of myself and daughter, buy us a home to live in, help my family and of course, I would give some to several of the ministries that I really felt were from Heaven.   You see, I learned about God by myself.  I didn’t know I couldn’t ask God for anything I wanted.  I just felt that if I were really going to try to do this God thing, that I was going to have to really be honest with Him and I wanted one million dollars.

I am telling you today that you can ASK God for anything.  It doesn’t mean that you are going to get it.  He sees what you cannot see.  He knows what is best for you.  He knows just when to give you something and how to get it to you.  I didn’t get the one million dollars at that time ‘cause if He had given it to me, I would have spent it all.   Of course at that time, you certainly couldn’t have told me that.  I wouldn’t have grown and changed and been able to learn about the more of God that he wanted for me if He had given it to me then.  I am a better person today because of it and so, now when I am ready to receive any money for anything, He knows He can trust me with it.  It is not because I didn’t have a good heart at that time, but I just didn’t understand His ways. After walking closely with the Lord now for eleven years, I can tell you that one million dollars wouldn’t have fixed   things in my life, but learning about His ways did.  So I say to you today, Yes, ASK Him and then sit back and listen to what He will tell you. …and never forget, Father knows best!

Matthew 6:33  “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

This was a really hard scripture for me to wrap my head around.  After having five abortions and having one living daughter, I wasn’t ready to put anyone in place of her in my heart.  I asked God  how could he make me do that.  What I learned was that you have to be totally sold out to Him. He is the one who will have your back.  He is your source for everything.  He is the one who can move Heaven and Earth for you.  There is no mortal who can do that.  I don’t care who you have for children or who you have as a husband, God wants your total devotion.  It will take time to get to this place in your heart…it is a process. God is a God of order and it is God first and then the husband, then the children and then everything else.  If you really want God’s best, then give Him your best….your whole undivided heart…then He will give you everything else.

John 10:10  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Yes.  We have become so civilized in the 21st century that we really don’t feel that we can talk about him.  The same devil that was present in the Garden of Eden (and there was one there) is the same devil that we are up against today.  He has just become more cunning in the way he operates.  We feel that if we talk about him, people will think we are crazy.  That is one of his biggest tactics.

We need to learn who our adversary is so we can fight him. Jesus Christ had to stand on this earth and fight him.   What makes you think that you won’t have to?  Satan is wreaking havoc in our lives, from our marriages to our children and we are not equipped to fight him.  We wonder why we experience defeat in our lives…Well, I am here to stand up and teach you exactly how to fight him.  (See Knights of the Sword). I learned years ago that he was real and have been fighting him and fighting him for others for years.  He does not want you to gain the victory in this life period.  You have a choice.  Decide for yourself.  I am only here to place the truth before you.  It is up to you what you will do with it.
