Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

Is Money Evil?

First of all, money itself is not evil.  I have heard people say "money is the root of all evil" all my life.  When I looked in the bible, this is what I discovered: 1 Timothy 6:10 states that "money is a root of all kinds of evil.”  We need money to function in the earth and it is a wonderful “tool”  to use.  It can be the cause of many destructive things, but in and of itself, it is not evil.

·         Jesus Taught In Parables-Why?

I have a picture of Jesus by the Sea of Galilee.  I did this one summer in Vacation Bible School when I was about 9 years old.  I still remember the story.  The stories in the Word that Jesus taught from are ones I can still remember.  I had put them out of my mind as I was into “me,” but they were still somewhere in the recesses of my mind.  When I got saved and as I read the Word, the stories came back to me.  How many of us can forget a sermon (a good one at that) but never forget a good movie?  We are made in such a way that we are visually stimulated and as a result, are able to remember stories.  God knew that if He could reach us in a story, we would never forget it.  We need to understand that the stories in the Word are timeless.  The words and the parables used by Jesus Christ are the living, breathing words of God. These living words are cloaked in stories so simple that the wisest can stumble over them, but the simple will receive them as a child and when put into use gain the victory for their lives.

·        What is Agape love?

The Bible talks about all kinds of love.  The greatest of these is AGAPE.  It is the God kind of love.  Sometimes it is even hard for me to comprehend how God can love us, in spite of all our great sin.  He is willing to forgive us, help us, heal us, even after we keep going against His will for our lives…it is Agape love that reaches down from Heaven to us.  It is the God kind that forgives.  Jesus asks us if you love those who love you, what have you done  (Molly’s interpretation)  Love those who persecute you and wrong you THEN you will be sons of your Father in Heaven.  That is Agape love.  We all need to LOVE as we have been loved and to FORGIVE as we have been forgiven…The GOD KIND of forgiveness and love.(Matthew 5:43-48) AGAPE.
