Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

Euthanasia

There seems to be quite a lot of discussion in our society today concerning the right-to-die issue, i.e., euthanasia.  At one time, there was a doctor (who will remain unnamed) who went around killing the sick and suffering by lethal injection.  Well, frankly, I thought in some cases, it might be a good thing.  Then when I really starting walking with Christ and learned what was in His Word, I felt something completely different.  I realized that God is God.  He is the ONE who breathed life into Adam to begin the human race(a 47 million year old reptile named Ida didn’t), so only He has a right to say what happens with our life.  Just as easily as He gives life, He has the authority to take it from us.  Why are we not listening to what He says?   God tells us in Genesis 1:26 “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.

He tells us in Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.”  God is clear.  I have seen people who suffer greatly.  My own dad died with terminal cancer.  It ate him up from the top of his head to the souls of his feet.  We have a responsibility to get you the truth from a biblical perspective as well as divine revelation.  I have discovered that God is bigger than I will ever know.  I have discovered that God’s way of doing things is always for my benefit and for my own good.  There are no quick fixes with God most of the time. I try never to box Him in with my way of doing life.  I go to the Word of God first.  Then I pray about it and am led by the Holy Spirit to arrive at a clear understanding of everyday life issues but it isn’t always what I want to hear.  However, I do believe that we have a responsibility to uphold what God says in the Word if we are to continue this effort of telling others the truth in a simple and clear way.  Either we believe Him or we don’t, but to take a very life that was divinely given, whether walking with Christ or not, I believe is from the pit of hell.  We did not issue the life force that is in us and we shouldn’t be able to take it….there are no exceptions.  Euthanasia?  That is not a human choice.

Once Saved are you always saved?

Well, this question has circulated around for years and I am certain that it will be a question that will continue to plague us as humans but this is what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me.  God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).  Jesus explains to us in John Chapter 17 that there are ones that have been given to Him and will be with Him in eternity and that none of them is lost.  God already knows those who are coming home (to Heaven) and those who are not.  God already knows those who will be saved and those who will not.  We have to face the fact that not all are going to be saved and some will go to Hell.

I believe that if you are TRULY saved and filled with the Holy Spirit of God, you will always be saved.  I have seen people who say they are saved, yet fall away and God says that He takes no delight in those who have come to a knowledge of the truth and then regress (fall away).  But even though they fall away, does that mean they are no longer saved?  Well, I am not God and I cannot tell you that.  But, in my human mind, if they have been given to Jesus already (and God knows those who are coming already), they will not lose their inheritance as a child of God.  In Luke 22:31 Satan asked God for Peter and Jesus said that He would pray for him so that he would not fall away.  Simply put, once truly saved, yes, I believe that you are always saved.  No one will be able to pluck you out of Jesus’ hand.  The question is.... Are you truly saved?

Does God reward you?

Yes.  The Bible is clear that there are rewards given to each of us for what we do while we are here on earth.  The scripture is: Revelation 22: 12  “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”  Doing what is written in the word of God and letting it transform you into God’s vessel will gain you reward.  I believe that those rewards will determine what you will do for eternity.  Don’t be confused though; you cannot work your way to heaven.  Salvation is by Grace alone.  But, what you do after you are saved is indeed critical.  In other words, don’t just say Jesus, do Jesus and great will be your reward.  “Be His hands and be His feet.”  Get the point?  Grace saves you for eternity but what you do with your salvation will determine what your reward will be.

Can you be reincarnated?

This is a very controversial question.  It always has been and knowing people, it always will be.  There are just those who refuse the truth no matter how much you lay down the evidence.  You know knowledge is power and we at JWTJ are all about getting you the truth so you don’t have to be misled any longer.  The answer is absolutely NOT.  Well, Molly, how do you know this?  First and foremost, I am a witness to the Lord’s actual resurrection.   I can tell you that every word of the Bible is real.  With that being said, there is a scripture in the Bible that sums it all up.  The scripture is found in Hebrews 9:27 stating: “And it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.”  There is not going to be a second chance at life so you better get this now.  You will not be coming back as another person or an animal.  What you do here now matters and it will determine what is going to happen to you for eternity.  This is fact:  You do not have nine lives and if you believe this way, you are being deceived.  There is one way and one truth and there is one judgement.
