Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

There is a scripture in John 17:2 where Jesus states that He has given us eternal life.  I always read this scripture and thought it was talking about life hereafter when I died.   I have gotten a new revelation on this recently.  When Jesus tells us that He came to give us eternal life, He is telling us He came NOW to give us eternal life by bringing it “out of the heavens and into the earth.”  This means there is an eternal life you can walk in on this earth now. This promise does not mean you will be able to avoid the “bad things” of this life, but you will be able to rise above them. Again, Jesus tells us that in this world we will have tribulation, but to “take heart” for He has overcome the world (John 16:33).  Have you ever wondered how some people have the ability, no matter what is going on, to let things just “roll off their backs?” Well, this is an example of “the eternal life” I want you to understand. It just isn’t for the sweet by and by; it is for the here and now.  In order for you to walk in this life, you have to accept Christ as your personal Savior.  Don’t just attend church.  Walk with Him.  Talk with Him….ask God to give you the Holy Spirit so you can walk in victory in your life. The Holy Spirit will guide you into ALL truth for your life so you can be whole, you can become happy and accomplish good things.  He will put you on YOUR path so you actually can walk in what God has ordained just for you.  It will be the best place for you while you are here in this earth.  This will require work on your part; you have to want “the eternal life” God has for you.  I want you to know that eternal life is available for you right here but you will be the one who has to go after it.

Is Satan Real?

The Bible talks repeatedly about Satan being real.  Jesus had to stand on this earth and fight Satan (Matthew 4:1-11).  The book of Revelation talks about Satan consistently.  I am here to tell you that I have fought Satan toe-to-toe and I have seen him.  The blasphemies he shouted at me were unimaginable. Yes, Satan is real.  You will need to know how to fight him if you are going to get the victory and to be able to receive everything God has for you as His child here on earth.  This is not a game and I am dead serious.  Sugar coating this fact has taken place so much that we think there is no devil.   Of course, that is what he wants.  Make no mistake; if Jesus had to stand on earth and fight him with His words, you will have to as well.  If you don’t feel this way then you are being deceived.

Jesus left us tools to fight the enemy of our soul.  Go to Revelation 12: 9-11. The scripture states that “they” overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.  Many of God’s own children have no clue that they have to fight Satan in their everyday lives.  In other words, they overcame Satan by what they said.  We can overcome him. It all begins with your confession.  If you are a child of God, you have the divine right to take authority over him in your life and your family’s life in every aspect.  What I have discovered about the people God has put in my path over the years is that they are clueless to this fact alone.  We are in a battle and we will not stop until we are dead.  You need to face this.  You can overcome him, though and obtain the victory, but it will cost you obedience to God and diligence to do that.  Most people I know don’t think they have the time to learn about this but if they could get this part, everything else would fall right into place….even their desires as they relate to money, jobs and personal lives.  Most people want “things” fixed in their lives but they don’t know how to do it. This is why I have walked through this walk of mine with the Lord to be able to help others obtain true victory over Satan. Is Satan real?  Yes.

I have been in the work force most of my life.  I have been around all sorts of individuals.   I was in the company of two (Proclaimed Christians I might add) individuals this week and one woman said to the other,  “Molly doesn’t like gossip but this isn’t gossip.”  Well, I just kept listening to their conversation.  You would be amazed at what you can hear when you are not talking.  One of the women started talking about people she had known and asked the other person where they were, whom they were seeing romantically and what they were doing with each other.  I didn’t respond; I just listened to them both.  What is the difference between gossip and true heart-to-heart conversation about others based on shared concern relative to their well-being? (Finding out the facts to intercede for them) This is the rule of thumb I learned years ago:  If you are saying something about someone you would not say to his or her face, you are gossiping.  We have been conditioned into thinking that we are not gossiping but “just catching up.”  Make no mistake God will reveal who is talking about you and who isn’t.  He promises to bring into the light what is in the dark. (Or who is talking about you behind your back) Be wise.  You can’t hide from God.  We are judged for every idle word we say…If you are going to say anything about anyone, make certain God won’t judge you for it.  Be respectful of others feelings.  If you won’t say it to someone’s face, don’t say it behind his or her back.
