Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

For quite some time the Holy Spirit has been dealing with me to “just tell it like it is” and in this blog that is what I intend to do.  It is not that I don’t tell the truth the way I have been taught, but God wants His children to be reached with HIS Good News of why the Gospel is good news.  He wants to come to you right where you live this very minute, not where you are going to live.

People of all genders, races, and ages are lost.   Many of these same people claim the name of Jesus.  I am here to reach whomever the Lord wills….and there are many. The Gospel of Christ is Good News but it isn’t fluffy news.  The Gospel is a tough road if you actually intend on dedicating yourself to this walk. If you do not bear down, dig your heels in, and stay passionate, you will find it a very short and unsatisfying walk. But, as you follow Christ, you will come to realize that you have strength you didn’t have before; you actually find inner strength you never knew you had because you had never had to “exercise” it before.  You have hope where none existed and you have the power (as you mature) of the Holy Spirit to help overcome the obstacles that will try to take over in your life.  Let me be emphatically clear:  obstacles are part of this walk.  Acknowledge this because some skirt over this issue.

You might think you can stand and claim, for example, “I have nothing missing, nothing broken and I am whole and healed in Jesus’ name.”  In order to attain all of the above YOU have to do something.  God is not going to rain down upon you from Heaven whatever you think you want or need.

If you are lazy, then it is time to “get up off of it” and do something to help yourself. One of the basic things I learned early was, “God is not mocked, whatever a man sows that shall he also reap.”  If you don’t work or won’t work, beware.  God doesn’t play silly games…we do.  The Body of Christ is disjointed.  It can’t seem to get itself together as far as everyone singing from the same piece of music.  WE are immature as followers of Christ.  We need to get wisdom and knowledge so we can be all God NEEDS us to be.

The real good news is that you don’t have to stay where you are.  You can have all that God has planned for you but you will have to do your part.  Grow up so that you can understand this or you will stay in the same place and nothing in your life will ever change. We desperately need someone to stand up and tell the truth.  We are lacking truth and the tide is now going to change so God’s children (whether you are one at this moment or not) can truly gain the permanent victory in their lives.  And if you are ordained to be one of His children, then stop running.  A handout is fine momentarily but it doesn’t fix issues and is not a long term solution to anything you have going on in your life.  Let me explain.

Prosperity preaching must be stopped.  God’s children (and those who are not of faith just yet) are led to believe that if they are eating “government cheese,” all they have to do is give God some money and tomorrow they will be eating filet mignon.  A better life takes perseverance, obedience, and guidance from the Holy Spirit.  You cannot just “give” your way into having money.  God wants true transformation for you.

In the Bible, there is a story of a man who lay by the gate called Beautiful (Acts 3:1-10).  He had been born lame and evidently was now an older man who was carried daily and laid before the entrance of the temple to beg alms from everyone who entered. Then when Peter and John came upon him and Peter said, “Look at us.”  The man looked and he expected to get something (a handout) from them but Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you:  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Now this man could go and make a way in life for himself instead of continually begging for money.  You see, a permanent fix was given to him by God.  And I can tell you from years of experience that that is what our Father in Heaven wants for you.  What I have learned and what I have to tell you I give to you freely.  It will give you a more stable life in lieu of just begging and having momentary happiness given to you.

I know you don’t want to hear this but if you will just start to tithe (where the Holy Spirit guides you to), then God promises to open up the windows of heaven over your life and pour you out blessings you cannot contain  (Malachi 3:8-12).  Money is a sore subject with most individuals.  If you don’t have any, then believe me when I tell you that God is the only one who can change all of that for you, especially if you are in dire straights right now.  I don’t care if you only have a dime to offer the Lord.  Go before Him and sow (give) it where He lays on your heart and then take it there (if you can) by faith and see what He does for you.  He will honor your effort.  I have heard several people over the years say, “I can’t afford to tithe.”  I can promise you one thing: as my name and ministry stand for truth, you cannot afford not to tithe.

God HELPS those who HELP THEMSELVES.  This is not a game and I am not trying to waste my time blowing hot air at you.  The law of reciprocity (the one God established for us) is real and God can do things you cannot believe if you will but step out in faith and get up from the gate called Beautiful. You see, God requires YOU to do the stepping out in faith.  He already has faith….He doesn’t need it.  YOU will have to make the move. There has not been a single time since 1994 when God has let me down, but I was the one who needed to step out with my faith.  What came my way because of my obedience was brought by Him His way, not mine, and they were not necessarily things I thought I was going to receive.   Believe me, that is a big deal.  You have to understand His thoughts are not your thoughts and His ways are not your ways.  You will have to accept His way of doing your life.  He knows the best path for you.  All the fasting in the world and all the empty words are nothing.  Put your money where your mouth is.  Do this God’s way and see if He won’t back you up.

I know you are in trouble and this is the way to go.  There is a scripture in the Bible that says, “You will hear a voice behind you saying, “Go to the right or to the left.”  Can you hear me?   To be given divine guidance to get on your path is a big deal.  Being able to do something you care about or love doing as a living is big deal.  God can get that to you when He deems ready.   These things I am telling you are what God got to me years ago after I had tried so many things, my head was swimming.  He got answers to me and that was more important for my well-being than someone giving me another handout.  What about you? Are you going to keep lying there feeling sorry for yourself or heed the words I tell you- “Rise and walk in the name of Jesus?”

WE answer every email sent.  WE respond and pray as the Holy Spirit tells us.  Feel free to open up your heart to the Lord.  Every prayer is held in the strictest confidence.

If you don’t like your life, then do something about it.

For the last several days I have been walking around saying, “Lord, Jesus, God in Heaven, help me.”  Over and again those words rise up from my heart, roll off my tongue and come out of my mouth…Yes, we all know by now if you have read anything on this web site, that I have come at this time to tell the whole truth.  In this life we will have troubles but as long as God will allow the Holy Spirit to remain on earth we have a hope that our lives can be better…but it isn’t easy all the time.  If you think I am one of those who says, “I am happy in Jesus all the time then you don’t know me.”

Just because I believe I have a sovereign call of God upon my life does not mean that all of hell takes pause and lets up on its attempts to try and stop me from moving into my destiny…quite the contrary.  You have to understand that we ALL are going to face troubles.  How we choose to deal with them will determine the outcome of our everyday lives…this is not a game.

As long as God is on the throne and I am trying to walk uprightly before Him in the revelation of who He is in my life, then I can count on His divine help and actually get the victory in any circumstance.  Ten years ago if you had told me that I was going to go through some of the things I have been through, I might have actually opted out of following Christ.  Then on the other side of that choice, I can tell you that IF I had quit and not gone in the path I have willingly chosen, I would not be alive today and I am not certain I would have made it to heaven.

We all are going to go through adversities and consternation in this earth.  We all are going to face things we dislike.  This has no bearing whatsoever on your station in life and how much money you do or do not have.  There is a commercial right now (and everyone seems to be getting on this bandwagon) featuring Gordon Liddy of Watergate fame, telling the public that buying gold is the only way to protect and secure one’s future in this dying economy.  At the end of the commercial, he jingles a handful of gold coins and says, “That is the sound of security.”  I would like to tell him that he is terribly misled and in turn, misleading others.  The sound of security is when I can’t do anything about the circumstances around me and then call upon the only ONE who can...Jesus.  That is the sound of security.  Money can’t help my circumstances….money can’t restore the lack of hope….but in a split second, Christ can.  THAT IS SECURITY, Gordon!

I cheated myself out of years of happiness by allowing Satan to keep his hand firmly on my life.  Are you doing the same thing?

I know what it feels like to have no hope and feel convinced that nothing good will ever happen to or for me.  I know what it means not to have a handful of coins (never mind if they are gold or not) to shake and hear jingle.  I know what it felt like when everyone else’s perception of me made me feel less than zero.  I know the feeling when those around you think you are absolutely nothing, leaving you feeling hopeless and helpless.  All you want to do is die.

Christ can give you back your hope….it is supernatural….and many will call it plain ‘ole crazy, but if I can get up everyday and have hope of a better today, then you can as well.

Don’t give up on Jesus.  His love and His care will give you back your hope and it comes just when you think you can’t go on…He will never do for you what you can do for yourself, but He always does what you can’t…

If you are in despair at this very moment then cry out loud to Jesus.  When I was thirty-nine years old I this is the cry to heaven I made:

“If you are really real you are going to have to help me ‘cause I don’t want to live down here like this anymore.  And I will be damned to hell if I am going to allow my daughter’s life to end up like mine.”

The transformation has been truly amazing……..
