Give me a pill and I'll feel better. Give me a drink so I'll forget. Give me a cig. It'll help my nerves. Ugh! I can hardly take a breath. Let me have sex, I need someone to love me. As a matter of fact, I can't get enough. What is your name? Oh, yes. I remember! Could you pass me my pills so I'll forget and don't forget a drink to wash them down!

 Real Issues
Come as you are... get what you need.

Real Life Questions will become a thing of the past but will be archived on the lefthand side of the page in case you are interested.  We all have real issues to face each and every day and they can be tough to handle. We will attempt to use this section of the site to deal with those.  Hate, anger, biotry and jealousy are just a few of the things we will endeavor to address .  We at Jesuswithoutthejunk don't all go around with '24 hour' a day smiles slapped on our faces just because we are trying to follow a living Savior.

I recently heard that a well-renown Christian singer went “underground” several years ago, has now resurfaced and “come out of the closet,” so to speak.  The news reported that this singer, back in the States since September, had gone “down under” to Australia and spent five years there.

Upon hearing this news, my spirit was grieved terribly.  Then I thought, “Well, this is going to make Jesus look like he approves of the gay lifestyle.”  In addition, others, including young people, tend to emulate the famous, thinking they are very wise. Somehow, we think that just because someone is in the limelight, that what he or she does and says must be correct.  We think that they have it going on because the world knows their name.

This person, who is supposedly a Christian, has now been duped by the devil into thinking she is gay.  Homosexuality comes from childhood issues.  Satan seizes any opportunity he can, takes an individual’s mind over, and twists their way of thinking.  He preys on a weak, hurt, and needy soul.  If you are a good, solid Christian, proclaiming Christ as your Savior, then you had better understand what is in the word of God in regard to homosexuality.  Knowledge is power.  A part of your inheritance as a child of God are tools available for your use to combat the attacks on your very being.   You will need the resurrection power of Christ in order to defeat Satan in this area.

God does love everyone but he is a just God and he is not going to put up with this kind of behavior.  Do not think for one moment that Jesus or God condones homosexuality. God’s judgments are just as fierce as his love is good but not many are even teaching or saying this.

You CANNOT pick and choose what you want from the Bible, believing God will approve. People take certain scriptures and then use them the way it suits their lifestyle.

For the most part, we do not even know who our Father in Heaven is or what He requires of us. We tread on thin ice with God and think, “It’s all good,” when the exact opposite is occurring. Truth is what is desperately needed in the body of Christ. Immaturity is what is causing God’s children to be defeated.  The Bible doesn’t teach half-truths whatsoever.

God will not put up with any kind of fleshly behavior.  If you think you know God but are practicing homosexuality, then you need to let the scriptures test your life.  Let them mirror to you the truth.  Do you not know that God says, “There is nothing hidden that won’t be revealed?”  Stop twisting His words around to suit your desires when you know deep in your heart you are committing an abomination against the only one that can deliver you.  Stop kidding yourself. You are hurting no one but you.  Take authority over that spirit and get delivered. If you don’t know who carries the anointing of Christ to help you get set free from your sin, then ask God to show you where to go or what to do. When you fully openly walk with Jesus, you don’t have to hide.

My question to you is:  If it is all-good, why are things so bad?

I am not the judge but I am the messenger and this is the message for today.
