What If?

I want to pose a question to you today.  I want you to give yourself a few moments right now to really think about this. 

If you were getting ready to leave this world right now, what would you do? 

I mean, if you were given the opportunity to know that you were getting ready to die, would you do anything different?  Would you start crying, begging to stay?  Would you go see people that you haven’t seen in a long time?  Would you try to make amends with people that maybe you have wronged? Would you clean your house up so that the ones you have left behind would think better of you?   Would you start to be nicer all of a sudden?

Then a thought pops in your mind that you weren’t expecting….last but not least, maybe you aren’t really certain about eternity.  Maybe Jesus Christ is who He claims He is.  You haven’t taken my word for it even though I tell you plainly and clearly that I have been a witness to Him. This thought of dying leaves you scared and you are not sure of what is coming.  Knowing that you are getting ready to take your very last breath on earth and embark upon the unknown all of a sudden has you wondering if Jesus Christ really is our Savior. 

Would you stop and think,  “Maybe, I don’t know everything.  Maybe, just maybe, I am wrong and need to make certain I am covered for eternity just in case Jesus is real.”

What If?

If you are wondering about any of this, then I have done what I was supposed to do…

It is my job to prod you into thinking for yourself and to teach you what the Holy Spirit has taught me in a simple and clear way….

I want you to know that there is a Heaven, there is a Hell and you will go to one of them.

It is no big deal to get saved…if it had been, I wouldn’t have done it.  All you have to do is ASK Jesus to come into your heart and save your soul… it is so simple yet it is the most important choice you will ever make.
