Tis’ the Season!

Life can be challenging. I think we all can agree on that. Trusting in the Lord with all your heart when you face trials of different kinds, whether financial, health concerns, children, or spiritual warfare, can leave you wondering where God is at times. You might cry out to the open sky and ask Him for help, ask Him where He is, or even, through tears, ask Him if He even cares anymore. Where are you?

But the great news is that he is there. He is the still, small voice leading you, but to hear that still, small voice, you have to be quiet to listen, which can be challenging.

Proverbs 3:5- 6 (NIV): Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Life, at times, is NOT easy, and it is foolishness to pretend it is rosy ALL the time, but it is in these more difficult times that you must understand that God may be testing YOU, or trying to mature you into the individual he needs you to become or he might be causing you to look at yourself inside in order to let long-held beliefs be cast aside, finally. Your job? Stay steadfast, stand strong in your faith (because it is worth more than silver or gold), and stay focused on him. Eventually, he will make your paths straight and open your spiritual eyes to see "why" a situation occurs. I have experienced this too many times and gained more understanding than I deserved. If you are faithful to him, he will be faithful to you. He promises.

God bless you so much as you navigate your holiday season!

On the Lighter Side:

Can anyone tell me how much Santa's Sleigh cost?
Anyone?
It was free! It was on the house!
