To The Churches:

I have been plagued recently about a great injustice that needs to be brought to the forefront.  I believe there is a lot of tyranny going on in the church today, as a whole, and it needs to be addressed. There are those individuals and churches, to be certain, who are working for the Lord Jesus Christ alone and will do His will at any cost.  But many are not and those are the ones who need to be awakened.

My heart has been grieved over this particular situation for some time now. I kept pushing it back down inside and now I can’t any longer.  This blog is how it is going to come forth at this time.

If you are in fact a church who says the name of Jesus Christ, then it is time for you to stand up and BE the church of Jesus Christ.  Let me explain.  If you have kitchen facilities, then your kitchen needs to be opened to feed the hungry….period.  If you in fact have a “budget” and I know you do because oh, how we love to have meetings…and a lot of business meetings at that, then it is time to do this:  Stand up in church during a service where there are many people or go through your roster name by name and make certain that NO ONE in your realm is going without any food or clothes.  Budget some money for those in your own congregation who need your help.  You need to make certain that their basic needs are met…that is IF you say the name of Jesus Christ.  Pastors, it is time to stand up in a Sunday morning service and ask if there is anyone who needs help with anything.  A lot of people need the hands of Jesus and we are walking in and out of buildings on Sunday and they are left behind wondering how they are going to make it.

Ask out loud in a service who owns a business.  Then ask out loud who needs a job.  Then pray that the Holy Spirit will fit them together.  The healing and restoration process needs to take place in churches.  If it doesn’t take place right in front of our own two eyes, where in the world do you think it is going to take place?  Remember, “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother?”  And Pastors, YOU are the leader of the body.  Fast and pray and ask the Holy Spirit (and He will come to you with the answer) to help you do this for the lost, the hungry and the helpless.

Establish a learning place right in your fellowship hall (instead of using it for “get togethers”) for those who need to learn to read, write and be educated so they can learn and better their lives.  Knowledge is power.  People need help.  People need to see Jesus.  They need to feel Jesus in their stomachs and see Jesus on their backs with clothing.

I believe that if the churches don’t rise up and do something, it will give God a black eye (it already has) and God will come in and take over, for good or bad.  The choice is up to you.  The time is now not later.

I hear firsthand that churches don’t accept others who look different and this not ought to be.  There is no place in church for bigotry.  It is time for change.  A change must come.  If you utter the name of Jesus, then you better start being the hands and feet of Jesus.  If you don’t know what that is, then read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  The first church came together and sold everything they had and gave so that NO ONE within their realm was without.  Model that church and then you won’t have to be concerned about your budget or concerned about the falling numbers.  Believe me, there is no formula for building a church. You don’t need someone to come in and show you how to build a church.  That, my friend, is not from heaven.   Get your heart off of the numbers and on to God’s children and God will build the church.  Because unless God builds the church, I believe it will be coming down.

Will you do God’s bidding at any cost?  No matter what any man says to you?  No matter who withdraws their membership?  No matter what wealthy person can no longer dictate to you?  Will you be the hands and feet of our Lord?  Will you feed the hungry, clothe the naked and help those who, for whatever reason, cannot seem to help themselves?  I mean those who are within your own congregation?  Will you?

There is nothing you can do about the past but there is something you can do about what will happen from this moment forward….the choice is going to be up to you.  Let "The Church of Jesus Christ" Arise!
