Matthew 13:14-15

“And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:  ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull.  Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’

Ask not what your country can do for you…….

At this time in our history we have a “real life” example of spiritual warfare taking place right in front of our very eyes.  But as the Bible teaches again and again, ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive.’  I sit and wonder why the nation that I love cannot come together and help one another without all of the bickering, fighting and backbiting.  I wonder why millions upon millions of dollars are being spent on airtime for campaigns when ‘we the people’ are starving on the streets of America.

My Spirit gets worked up listening to all of the back and forth slandering, wondering why the newspapers don’t just post in black and white the voting history and changes made by two people, one of whom who will be chosen to lead this country.  Let the FACTS determine the outcome of the upcoming election and not just rhetoric.

If ever there was an instance to describe “Spiritual Warfare” to ‘ sheep without a Shepard’, it is now.  We, on the whole, are being misled as a nation and a people….a nation supposedly under God.  We are being destroyed for lack of knowledge….about our Father in Heaven and what He offers us as a child of God.

The battle we are in between light and dark is right in front of our faces and we can’t even see it.  If ever we need to learn about God and His ways it is now.  This is not a popular stance on God but it is nevertheless one of the facets that we have to face and we have to deal with in order to obtain the victory as long as we are alive.  We have been desensitized and lulled to sleep as children of God and it is time to wake up. 

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corn 10:4).  We need to understand that prayer coupled with fasting and offerings, if necessary, can turn the tide in what is taking place in this nation….the nation we say we love…the “one nation under God” I might add. 

As I have been sitting watching the country in great distress, I knew that instead of “talking to death about it,” we should rise up  and “do” something about this.  We talk and talk and sit and listen to others talk and talk (paying millions of dollars to do it), while only a few are actually putting the “ pedal to the metal” so to speak. 

One of the greatest obstacles we need to overcome is ourselves and the lack of doing anything.  We feel that “the beast” of the Capitol is too big to do anything about.  We hardly know all the issues and vote based upon feeling instead of fact and God’s will. We don’t really believe that God possesses the answers for our country.  We have to grow up now into the things of God if we expect to win.

John Kennedy said it years ago, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.”  You would be amazed at what learning how to fast and pray would do, not only for you, but for your country.  I have seen amazing results and it is time for us to ban together and fight the enemy of our souls and take back what we have let, through our own ignorance, the devil have.  We don’t even realize that this is coming from the enemy.

The spiritual walls around this nation have been broken for too long…that is why we are in the mess we are in.  Walking with Christ through this earth is a lot more than sitting in a church pew on a Sunday.  Jesuswithoutthejunk is here to help build back the spiritual walls that are destroyed…in a simple and clear way so we can gain the victory in every area.  

If you really are sick and tired of what is going on and are scared that you will be affected by the decline in our economy, then it is time for you to learn about spiritual warfare.  It is time for you to learn how to walk with Christ on an everyday level so you will be protected in the days in which we live. 

The job that faces us is a big one and it is going to require the help of everyone to get it done.  People do nothing, either because they think the job is too big for them to do anything about or because they don’t know what to do.  I am telling you that prayer changes things.  It is not just something that is done at the beginning of a meal or you do on your knees before you close your eyes. Prayer can make the difference in the battle between good and evil.  We are in a battle for this country and it is time to pick up our weapons and fight.

Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, in a Memorial Day address in 1884 stated:  “It is now the moment when by common consent we pause to become conscious of our national life and to rejoice in it, to recall what our country has done for each of us, and to ask ourselves what we can do for our country in return.”

We are on the brink of a disaster “of Biblical proportions” (quotation “Ghostbusters” couldn’t resist!) whether we want to face it or not.  God would not and did not leave us without the weapons to fight this but most of us have no idea they exist.  I am telling you that they are real.  It is time to pick up your weapons and fight for your country, your children and yourself.

When God’s children do nothing, evil wins.

Pro-choice or Pro-life?

The last time I looked, our Father (the Father of us all) did not and will not waiver on the fact that to kill,  no matter what the reason, is a sin.  It, however, does not mean that you cannot be forgiven.  If we, as a nation of people, say we know God, walk with God and are for God, then we need to understand that God NEVER changes.  He is immovable on certain issues.

If we say we know God and are pro-choice, then we are being deceived.  We walk around and proclaim to know God and then do not follow what God says in the Word…I know because I was like that.  I thought I knew God but I was ignorant (lacking knowledge) of what He says in His Word.

Our country is headed for disaster if we do not choose the correct man to run this country.  We hear all sorts of verbiage in this hour but you can slice right down to the truth of the matter by knowing what your Father in Heaven says about all this pro-life and pro-choice business.  He did not institute those two options; this nation did.  

The Bible teaches that God knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb, so that, in and of itself, tells me God knew everyone who would be conceived…period.  That point alone tells me that this nation has let the devil rule and reign too long in our thinking.  It is time that we stand up and take back what Satan has stolen from us…and  Pro-choice thinking is coming from Satan whether we realize it or not.

There was a time when I was so grief-stricken about the abortions I have had I wasn’t certain I would be able to live with myself.  I started wailing and crying out to God.  It was one of those gut-wrenching, hard to swallow crying times, when you think you won’t be able to stop.  I actually felt my insides were being turned inside out.  As clear as a bell, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Molly, when is it that you think I put the soul in someone, when they come out of the womb?”  Well, that revelation alone cut my heart like a knife and I knew that I had literally killed my own children.  The reason didn’t matter.  I needed to come to terms with the fact of what I had done so I could move forward.  I can tell you that twelve years later I am still in shock over it but yet, if I let it destroy me and keep me down, I will not be able to help anyone else and that is what helps keep me going.

We are in trouble not only in this country, but within ourselves.  WE need a leader who will lead and that, in an of itself, is a tough job.  True leaders will not always be liked because they have to make tough choices and there will always be some that will take offense with the decisions that are made.  

It is time to stand up for what is right and Godly, not for what is popular.  If you will pray about the upcoming election, the Holy Spirit will guide you as to what choice you need to make but if you say you believe in God then be certain He is not a PRO-CHOICE God.

Don't just speak change in this country.....BE the change.

Deuteronomy 30:19  therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.....

WHY?WHY?WHY?

There are a lot of questions I have had.  Believe me, if anyone could have asked God the question "why" and worn Him out with it, it would be me.  I can just imagine God sitting in Heaven with the twelve disciples saying, “I sure will be glad when Molly comes home.  I will have so much more time for everyone else.”  My Crosswalk, as I have come to call it in my heart, has been tough.  But! With having said that, I can tell you God has faithfully answered every “why” I have asked Him.  I didn’t and still don’t like the answers sometimes.  But, I have enough history with God to know that  if He is allowing something to take place that I don’t like,  I might as well take a deep breath, stop complaining and let God be in control.  I have discovered that most of the time these trials and delays are for my benefit, but it took me years of “walking through” with Christ to mature and understand this.  He has used my sorrows to help minister to others greatly and will continue to do so.  I certainly don’t want my life to have been in vain.  But, I also have learned that not everyone wants to hear that what God is allowing to take place in their life, for their benefit, may involve things they do not like.  Most people want a prayer prayed, an answer given (the one they want) and the problem fixed, so they can get back to their way of life.

There are times when Satan comes at you trying to make you doubt God as well.  He wants you to doubt God’s Word, His ability to heal you, deliver you and set you free from whatever bondages that hold you back or down.  He wants to put doubt in your mind that God has the ability to bring to you goodness in all areas of your life. 

When you are facing something that only God can do, I can tell you that if you do your part, God will do His part…. every time.  When you have fasted and prayed and offered up to the Lord until you are blue in the face, then it is your job to STAND.  By that I mean keep going, believing and above all, stay steadfast.  It is not the time to fly off the handle and curse God and die.  Every time in the Bible when God’s children started complaining and griping, God didn’t listen.

We have to understand that God is God.  Just because we confess Jesus Christ as the Savior of our lives, it does not mean we will receive all we want from God and it is not His fault.  If God doesn’t move the way you want Him to, understand that HE is God and YOU are not.  Remember, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done.”  Well, whose Kingdom and whose will do you want done, His or yours?  We can say that we are letting go and letting God, but are we really? 

Why do bad things happen to so many?  Why does God let things or allow bad things to happen?  Well, I can tell you that I am not God and whatever God wants to happen is going to happen whether I like it or not.  I have learned the hard (very hard) way that I have to surrender my complete will to the Master.  It is my job to be Obedidant.  If you are trying to walk with Christ in this earth and  trying to do His will, then be patient.  He is Father Time and He will do everything in His time not your time.

If you remember nothing else of this Blog…pull out the white flag and wave it in front of God…Surrender your will to Him.  Do all you know how to do and then let God be God.  The days of jerking God’s chain to get a miracle are over…. but, were they really ever here?
