The Magnificent

Everyone needs someone who prays for them.

Everyone needs someone they know who cares.

Christ came to bind up all our broken places.

And yet, we behave as though He is not even there.

When will we realize there is someone who cares?

He holds out His loving hands of mercy and sheds abroad His magnificent love in our hearts.

How is it we turn from the one who can heal us of the deep-seated wounds that cripple us? But, oh, the Magnificent, He is there.

He waits upon no man.

His sacrificial life brought hope to the nations.

His guiding eye will bring hope to the youngest of hearts.

When will we realize He is waiting with His majestic love upon us?

When will we be willing to kneel before a sovereign God who created us?

Oh, how The Magnificent cares.
