Cleaning house is not my favorite thing to do. Folding laundry, washing dishes, cleaning toilets and oh, that dusting is something that I dread. We all know that it has to be done but we postpone it until we have to do it. We run out of dishes or clothes. The trash smells so bad that even the dog can't stand it. Cleaning house needs to be done in our walk with Jesus every now and then. How is your walk going? Is your path cluttered and does it need cleaned? Is there smelly garbage buried deep inside of you that you need to empty?
I need to rearrange my hectic life like my furniture. Rearranging furniture opens up a room. It makes it look brighter and like new. Open up your schedule. Use your time wisely. Quit squeezing Jesus into your schedule. Make Him a big part of your day.
My old furniture in my clean house is so comfortable. I feel so at home and safe. You should feel the same with Jesus. Do you? I want to be able to kick off my shoes and relax with Him. There is too much in this world to be without Him. Clean up and rearrange. Make it a priority today.
