"We the People" have heard enough hate speech stemming from Washington. Someone must stand up and call "a spade a spade."
One cannot continue down a slippery slope of saying anything believing it will be palatable (or believable for that matter) to the American public. Those that I move around are beginning to stop watching the news or listening to politicians who spew anger. Blaming Donald Trump for every little issue that arises has worn thin, revealing one has no firm agenda.
A battle for this nation's soul is occurring but know this: God is not going to allow this nation to be a socialist or totalitarian country. Those who are espousing this might need to consider moving to a country that will enable this type of existence because "we" will not stand for it.
The United States of America is not a foreign entity. Some of the rhetoric in Congress borders on treason, and if one cannot espouse to the framework of the founding fathers, then why would you have run for Congress?
Elected officials should be a voice of reason for a block of individuals of America, not come to one of the most prestigious offices in this great country with a bucket of chicken touting a moot (Mueller investigation is now officially closed to the tune of 25 million dollars and “we” understand this fact). Frankly, it tells shows that there is little or no passion for the United States and its current issues. The current behavior calls to mind school children fighting on a playground!
God sees, and He is not going to allow this blatant disregard for an elected office to continue for much longer. Brothers and sisters in Christ now is time to fast and pray (as mature adults) on behalf of this nation. Ask God to please expose and extract through election those who do not have this nation's welfare at the center of their hearts.
Moreover, if one is a "religious" person spewing public hatred or making death threats, you are showing your religion for what it is. Who would want to follow that kind of behavior? For those who call upon the name of Jesus Christ (a loving and just God), He does not tout slander, bigotry, hate or play silly childish games while making thousands of dollars, but He does call "spade a spade."
Today (April 19th) marks the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who provides resurrection power for those who believe. NO ONE can boast about having a Savior who has risen from the dead except Christians, no one. As trite as it might sound, “The tomb is empty.”
Years ago, a friend of mine asked me to watch Titanic with her. Ordinarily, this would have been the type of movie that I would have been the first in line to see, but I had held myself back and didn’t bite the apple to go when it opened in theaters. I hadn’t been watching anything but Christian television by this time in my life (about a year), and I had mixed emotions about it. I had come to understand that what “goes in the mind will most certainly come out the mouth, ” and I was trying so hard to allow the Holy Spirit to change my “old things.” She said, “Instead of buying me something, I would like for you to watch Titanic with me. My husband is going fishing on Saturday, so I could just come up, and we could watch it together." I agreed. I mean how many people just want your company and nothing more?
Saturday afternoon arrived, and we got settled in to begin watching the movie. Since this was based on an actual (but horrific) story, I was enthralled. Within approximately ten minutes, the world “G__D___M it” was uttered at least four or five times (I didn’t watch it again to count, but you get the point) Each time it was spoken, my heart felt like a dagger was thrust in and then twisted for maximum effect.
Several days went by, and I was cleaning in my nail shop. I was vacuuming, and the cord wrapped around a glass item, and it dropped to the floor and broke. The very first thing out of my mouth was “G__D___M it!” I stopped and turned off the vacuum. I stood in silence shocked. Immediately, I knew that this part of my humanness needed to be dealt with. I purposed in my heart from that time on that anytime something caught me off guard, or a sudden burst of anger would surface that I would say out loud Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus until my flesh calmed down. It took a long, long time, but my flesh finally submitted to the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit until I didn’t need to use that tactic anymore.
Resurrection power. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord have a world of supernatural power available, but the key (and I use that term lightly) is that one must purpose intentionally to allow the Holy Spirit to change you from the inside out. His light will reveal the darkness if you allow it to.
Let the Holy Spirit reign in your heart. Just begin. Some things will take your participation, others will take only His, and still, others will be done for you. Those choices are up to you. But won’t you at least try to be the victor in your life through the blood of Christ that was paid in full for you through His crucifixion and resurrection?
One of several inflamed issues of our day is abortions. In this blog, I speak not only from experience but from what I believe to be a sound biblical position. America is standing on the side of wrong when addressing abortions, no matter if the abortion is three weeks, twelve weeks, late-term or allowing a baby to die when the actual abortion fails. This is not only a moral issue, for those who claim the term “Christian” but a human rights issue.
The narrative that is being pushed (shoved down throats) currently is one of ignorance. God clearly tells us that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). We are treading down a road of demonic enticement. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
It is not as if today I am dying to rehash the mess I went through before turning my heart to the truth of God, but I have been called at this specific time to be an open book so that others can comprehend the weight of what they are believing. Having experienced abortions, it reminded me of a “death camp roundup” where you sit in a huge room with many other women and wait to terminate your pregnancy. I had listened to all those around me who didn’t have a clue about how God perceived a pregnancy and I freely walked into the room and had it sucked out of my womb.
For anyone who tells you that abortions are just getting rid of a “fleshy blob” or any such other description to make their argument palatable, one must come to terms with the fact that a fetus is a living soul. When I turned to the Lord, I came to understand that abortions were updated environmentally controlled murders that one signed off on. In a very heated almost uncontrollable moment of sobs, the Holy Spirit spoke into my heart and said, “Molly, when is it you think that I place the soul in someone—after it comes out of the womb?” That one statement cut me like a knife and I knew I had literally, yet unknowingly, killed my children.
Wake-up and smell the coffee America! If you say you are a professing Christian, then pray and ask God to confirm to you that killing children is alright with Him. And then ask for mercy on your soul. I did.
The news is out. The Trump campaign, according to Robert Mueller, did not collude with Russia in trying to tip the 2016 Presidential election. There is no evidence that anyone tried to “secretly” turn America into a Russian country through back door rendezvous.
How can we be certain that Donald Trump did not try to “fix” the election? First, he is a patriot. Anyone who watches him or listens to his heart can tell that. You can fool the people some of the time, but you cannot fool them for extended periods without slip-ups. Secondly, he is a Christian who is saved, and for general information, a truly saved individual is constantly being worked on by the Holy Spirit for the better. None, I dare say, are perfect. We all have backyards that need weeds pulled out of. Thirdly, he was God’s choice for the oval office. How can I be so certain? A group of evangelicals was sent to Trump Tower to pray over/for him and to convey that God needed a man who would stand up to the corrupt dealings in Washington, D.C.
Did he cozy up to Putin for selfish gain? Mr. Trump is a “one on one” builder and knows that to effect change relationships must be carved out. Being able to trust another at their word, in Mr. Trump’s heart, is invaluable to do successful business. He understands that the only way to accomplish this is to begin a conversation. If one is a praying Christian at all, the Holy Spirit bears witness that Mr. Trump is not only a “work in progress” just as we all are, but his actions are proving that he is trying to keep his campaign promises while fighting against Washington all the way. This concrete evidence is invaluable for those who are taking him at his word.
Now fast forward through this week and the report from Mueller. We didn’t hear a whole lot for day one or two, but then the narrative began: Obstruction of justice and there was most certainly collusion. After two years and millions of dollars, the left has decided that Mueller was wrong, and Donald Trump certainly colluded with Russia.
I believe that God has heard enough, had enough and will exonerate Donald Trump. It is a travesty to have spent all this money on a hoax that was perpetrated and paid for by the Democrats to steal the oval office. Really? Do you realize that all that money could have properly housed, in at least a tent city, those in California who are living on streets in squalor? How about all the children that go hungry right in America? Shame on us!
I am for term limits on elected officials, not only at the local level but in our highest offices. Career politicians who seem to have lost a sense of right and wrong must come to an end. Making thousands of dollars, having all the perks of the wealthy and continually stirring up trouble and hatred needs to be over. Congress was established to legislate not continue to berate the President of the United States. We are supposed to be one nation under God instead of divided political parties.
God promises in Isaiah 54:9 that He would never flood the earth again. He did this due to their out-of-control sin/lives. I wonder what He is thinking now?
When you must lie to get others to follow you, something is wrong. It reminds me of Pontus Pilate who when he said, “What is truth” (John ch.18)? Jesus did not kill, beat, steal or cheat, but because Pilate feared an uprising on his watch, he had him crucified anyway. He would not stand up for the truth of the matter.
The blanket legalization of marijuana has come to the forefront of our national discourse. All I can see in my mind’s eye are people trying to unsuccessfully drive under the influence of a hallucinatory drug. I can only speak from experience, but this substance caused me great anxiety, lack of functionality and awareness. To top it off my appetite went out the roof! Depending on one’s personal physiological make-up one should never be allowed to get behind the wheel of any vehicle while in use. How many accidents will finally cause us to wake up and stop this madness? Did we not learn anything from the mothers of MADD? I know It won’t happen to me. Famous last words.
I have no medical information on the long-term effects (mentally/physically), but to allow sales of this to hit markets through baked goods or over the counter markets is going to be detrimental to all of us. We must understand that this WILL find its way into the hands of our youth. And it seems that celebrities are getting right on the bandwagon to make money hand-over-fist. Isn’t anyone going to stand up and step up to the plate, (a few doctors have begun, thank goodness) and stand against this travesty with voices of major concern? Is this what this nation has come to? I could (almost) swallow this pill if those making all the money would use the proceeds to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and build housing for those the very streets of America. After all, the Bible tells us that the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not calling anyone wicked, but if the shoe fits…
The Bible teaches us that in the last days well, I will just let scripture speak for itself:
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
My heart is telling me that we are in perilous times and that it is time for the Church of Jesus Christ to wake-up, fast and pray that only God’s will be done in America. Pray Him into these situations. Pray for His hand upon this nation. Pray that wickedness and evil do not get the upper hand. Pray. And if you don’t think you know how to pray effectively, just sit before the Father and pour out your heart. Let Him hear you and your deepest concerns. God promises us in His word, and His word is going to stand firm no matter what the devil tries to do, that if we will humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, then He will forgive our sin, and heal our land (2 Chron. 7:14). Our land, America, needs to be healed.
We need God back in this country in full measure. God is waiting for us to do something. He has given us the authority that we will need to defeat the wily ways of the devil. The days of Donna Reed, that most in my generation of people understood as good, are well over and if we do not do something we will not like the outcomes.
Newly elected politicians are touting fresh ideas (or are they?) which seem to have captured the imaginations of many. Hearing of the Green New Deal reminded me of the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness (Matt. 4:8-11). He promised the Lord all the kingdoms of the world if he would just bow down to him (or vote for him). You’ve heard of it, haven’t you? The New Kingdom Deal! If you have not read this biblical text recently, it is worth another look. This type of deception began in the Garden of Eden. Eve was duped by Satan, and the trickle effect took hold and has not let up. God had to send His Son, who died a horrible death, to deliver us from this kind of defeated thinking and life and deception.
I am not opposed to any person no matter age, gender or race to enter politics, but telling the country or those who might have ears to fall into this entitlement trap, that America is going to just pay for your life, and that the systems currently in play are going to be replaced by newer “green” ideas is childish. This country is in so much debt that a balanced budget is more of a “wish” than a reality today. What in the world makes someone (anyone for that matter) even consider that giving everyone everything for free won’t literally disseminate our economy? Furthermore, that to redesign and implement a “greener” infrastructure will solve problems of murder, rape, hunger or bigotry?
Let us not brainwash ourselves yet again into thinking that freshman Congresspersons, who are promoting socialism, green deals or hate speech against specific groups of individuals (our Jewish brothers and sisters) will give anyone a better life. Really? Do we all seem so gullible? Life is not fair it seems but making promises that cannot possibly be kept is a waste of time for solving life issues.
I ask you today exactly who is pushing this agenda or who is pulling the strings behind this rhetoric? I honestly do not believe that this fabrication has raised its ugly head out of a great need to heal human suffering, clothe the naked and feed hungry children. Didn’t we learn our lesson prior to this administration of these ideals? Where did all of those promises dissolve to? Look closely (watch some old news cycles of 2008-2016) and see if the truth doesn’t hit you in the face.
God, through Jesus Christ His Son, does promise us a better way out of our messes, but we will have to be the ones to go after it, and Satan knows it. Don’t be fooled again. Remember the old saying—
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me…
“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
Today the nation celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. This ministry pays homage to him for his impact on us in various ways. The quote above notes such an impact. Without preaching a sermon or asking followers to buy a “hot off the press” teaching tape, he gives one quote that reaches deep down into the innermost of our beings. The message? No matter what God has assigned you to do, do it with all your heart and strength, as unto the Lord. I needed to hear that (again!) today.
It is a new year! And with that, I always have believed, are new possibilities with hopes and dreams that can be realized. I have always been a “glass half-full” person even in lieu of my very sorted life and circumstances. It is truly a God-given outlook.
But, I also know that with a new year comes the attitude of “same ‘ole, same ‘ole” and lots of despair. So how do we turn a situation around that mirrors the latter? Lobotomy? Heart transplant? I wish it were that easy, but there is a hope that is available that I certainly had not known of. I literally had to exhaust all (MY!) efforts and end up pretty much broke, busted, and disgusted until I finally cried “uncle!”
The cross of Christ is enough. This almost hidden secret to many is powerful and divine, but sorrowfully not many will ever embark upon its fullest intentions due to just plain ‘ole having a very hard head. Some have been blinded by the enemy of our souls and others, well just don’t need all that Jesus stuff—right now. I can tell you for a fact that if it had not been a simple gesture of asking (Matthew 7:7) on my part that I, too, would never have sought it out. I was worn out of trying everything I knew to be sane and happy, but somewhere in the darkness of my thinking there was a little flicker of hope left that I could have somewhat of a “normal life.” God did not make this a hard process. All I had to do was ask for help. Surely, I can do that.
Just begin. We, once again, are stepping out on faith to try and help those that the Father will draw to us with a saving type of love that is invisible to the naked eye yet so real that not everyone will enter its divine help. Look for our new teachings in February. Get ready!
Keep the faith and keep on going for God loves you. And in everything you do, do it as unto the Lord so that all of heaven will rejoice.
There are so many voices saying so many things. Everyone has an opinion and I am no different, but instead of “preaching” a Christmas message, I want to retell a story of hope. I don’t know about you, but I could use a good dose and reminder of the tangible gift that Christ is. This is the season that the Holy Spirit somehow stirs the hearts of men giving them hope that all things can be brighter for a better tomorrow…
The Christmas Miracle Cat
Do you believe in miracles? I want to tell you a tale of a striped, tabby cat named Roscoe
As I was diligently working as a nail technician one holiday season, (and all women realize the importance of beautifully manicured nails for Christmas!), a client walked in, sat in the chair and was clearly flustered over a situation that had just taken place. A most interesting story began to unfold as her frustration began to deflate with every passing word.
She came home and her two cats, Bogey and Putter (can you guess her husband’s favorite pastime?), had been making a huge fuss over a small tabby cat who had appeared at their back door, with an “over the top” commotion which was taking place (If you knew Mrs. Grissom you would know that this would just not do!). On with the story—The family’s two cats were hissing at the unwelcomed and unwanted intruder (by other family members), but her two grandchildren were positively overcome with excitement at the prospect of this new little visitor.
The cat was a small striped tabby, which seemed to be unusually friendly. But what was he doing at their back door? Mrs. Grissom wondered. After much talk and indecisiveness regarding his fate, it was decided that at least a makeshift bed of cardboard and towels would be placed outside for warmth. as everyone stood around deliberating his future. They reasoned that if they ended up feeding him once he might end up becoming a long-term “resident” but Mrs. Grissom’s heart softened, and she stated unequivocally that she was going to feed and water this poor little fellow. After all, she pondered, how long had it been since he had eaten? Her instincts were right on the money as she watched the little fellow devour the feast.
A phone call to the local vet was made inquiring if anyone had reported a missing cat of his description (as if he were unique in his markings). Then a thought occurred to Mrs. Grissom. She grabbed the Wilmington Star-News and stated that she was going to scour the paper to see if perhaps a classified ad had been placed by a frantic cat owner. Her family scoffed. But if you knew Mrs. Grissom you would know that nothing, once her mind was set, would deter her from her goal, which was finding his owner. As she intently combed the paper, something caught her attention. Right in the middle of the classified section, she saw the following ad:
“Lost Cat.” Male. 7 months old, striped tabby; grey, tan and black with white under his neck. Medium size. Very friendly. His name is Roscoe.
Mrs. Grissom could hardly believe her eyes. The ad described the exact cat she and her family were watching tee! She repeated the exact words verbatim to her family knowing somehow in her heart that this was that cat. At first, her family pooh-poohed the notion with all sorts of remarks. What were the odds that this was that cat who was scarfing down a bowl of food? Who is the world would place an ad for a little cat such as this?
Hours passed and there was no frantic person searching for a lost cat who had notified the vet. Eventually, Mrs. Grissom’s daughter, who had stated that she would take the cat, was ready to go home and needed to know how to proceed. On a whim, Mrs. Grissom picked up the phone and called the number listed in the paper.
“Well, it probably isn’t our Roscoe, but it would be worth coming to take look” was the reply from the other end of the line. “Both our little girls have been devastated at the loss of Roscoe hardly able to do anything but cry. They haven’t even wanted to go to school.” The husband and wife piled up the girls and made the ten-mile trip to the other side of Wilmington just to help put to rest the question of this being their little Roscoe. Upon arriving at the Grissom’s house, what to their wondering eyes should appear but Roscoe! He was so young; how could have made this long journey they all wondered? No one comprehended how he could have survived the ten-mile trip traveling the streets, crisscrossing traffic and most likely, not having any food or water and yet he made it to this very specific house. Was it just circumstantial or did Roscoe end up at the Grissom doorstep because heaven knew the plan already was in motion, if recognized, to return him to his rightful home thereby placing awe and wonder in the hearts of all of those who were a part of this Christmas miracle? Whose hearts had to be touched?
After allowing this story a little time to settle in my heart, the true meaning of it began to flow. I don’t know how many of you have ever had the Holy Spirit burden you with something, but you do not rest until it comes out in some manner, and I knew this was an undeniable miracle of God’s care that must be shared. What were the chances that a tiny little seven-month-old tabby would survive all the obstacles he had to most certainly face and overcome for four days if it were not? Though her family members did not have the presence of mind (or spirit) to search the paper, it was placed directly on Mrs. Grissom’s heart, but the key to this miracle was that she had to follow through (One must always follow through!).
Are there modern-day miracles? Ask Roscoe. He is now at home with his family this Christmas because one woman took the time to follow her heart. Out of every house in the city of Wilmington, I believe that angels guided little Roscoe to Mrs. Grissom’s house. The Holy Spirit foreknew that she would not give up searching to uncover the truth until there were no options left. He knew that a phone call would be made to the owners, as silly as it might seem when everyone around her thought she was crazy.
This event reminded me, and I needed to be reminded again this year, that God knows every sparrow that falls to the ground. He knew that I would love this little miracle tale and in turn write a story to give those a little peek into the heart of a big God and His love and care for the smallest of creatures.
How glorious to think that our Father attends such small animals, those who were lost (ten miles away no less) and then restored to their rightful home. How much more the birth of Jesus Christ coming lowly in a manger over two thousand years ago was needed for us to find our way back home. If this story is not a miracle of God’s unending love, mercy and special grace for humanity (and animals), I don’t really know what is.
Won’t you turn your heart over to the heart healer this Christmas season (Yes, Christ-mas) and become a Christ-bearer? If He carved out special time to bring Roscoe home at Christmas, then what in the world is stopping you?
Note:
Mrs. Grissom is in heaven today with Jesus and I feel certain that she is smiling down as this story is being recounted, once again. It was her very special encounter with a dear little tabby, named Roscoe that gave so many hope at Christmas…
I had the honor of joining the sweetest two people in marriage recently. I do not usually talk about others in this manner, but they certainly needed to have this little story told as a memorial to God and the everyday little ways in which He moves.
They had booked my services months in advance of their wedding. I have always believed that people should know the person who will help seal their vows, so we met one Saturday right after I had just married another couple. At the local McDonald’s, I got to introduce myself and gather any information about them that I might need. It was not too long into our conversation that they decided to procure my services for their special day.
To give you a glimpse into this couple and truly where their hearts are, I received an email from them when hurricane Florence was getting ready to hit Wilmington. They asked if I was alright and told me that if I needed a place to go that I was welcome in their home. This was two months prior to the ceremony, so the invitation seemed true to what I had perceived as their loving natures from the very beginning.
The big day arrived. The morning of the ceremony, through prayer, it was placed in my heart to take my Bible and place their wedding rings on it as a symbol of their foundation of Christ. As I took my place as Reverend, I happened to notice a yellowed Bible (the older type with a zipper) lying on one of the chairs. I asked the Mistress of Ceremonies whose it was, and she said it was the Bride’s grandmothers. Immediately, I knew I had to use that special one in the ceremony. It was if it had been chosen by God and could not have been more meaningful for the couple.
Fast forward to the following day (Sunday). The bride texted me at 11:44 pm that evening (I picked up the message the following morning!) with this dear story that must be “said (instead of pay it) forward.” Let me recount it for you—
“Ok, so this just happened. We are on the way back from the beach after getting married. We stopped in Whiteville at Hardee’s. There was an elderly lady in there eating alone in her Sunday dress with a beautiful fake rose pinned to her shirt. I went out to the car to get her a single rose from the wedding just because I thought it would make her happy. I ended up pulling out three long-stemmed roses. I walked to her table and said,” Ma’am sorry to interrupt your lunch but we just got married and are traveling home.” I handed her the roses and I told her to enjoy them. She was speechless (but only for a second!). She grabbed my hand, looked over at the counter where Ed was waiting on our food and said, “Is that your husband?” I replied, “Yes Ma’am.” “Bring him over here,” she said. She stood up and grabbed both of our hands and said, “My name is _____and I am a minister. I am going to pray for the strength and lasting bond of your marriage.” And together standing in the middle of Hardee’s the three of us prayed! She thanked me for the roses and said the reason I gave her three roses represented the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit! She had no idea I was only intending to bring her the one single rose I went to get. I had no idea why I grabbed three! I do now! Thank you, Lord, for the way you show yourself daily! Being kind is easy but the “gifts and inner blessings” you gain are priceless.”
Need I say any more? God bless you all as you go throughout this next week and remember that God is always on the move. His wheels are ever searching to show up for those whose hearts are softened to hear from Him.
Love your week in Christ and keep your chin up for God is still on the throne!
Having done all to stand, stand therefore… (Eph. 6:13).
In this blog, I speak to you from experience. True spiritual warfare can become so intense at times that you think you cannot possibly “stand” to go the distance that you believe God is asking of you. He has moved the plumb line so many times requiring you to continue that you come to a point whereby you feel that enough is enough. You have fasted, pleaded the blood, taken authority over the type of spiritual wickedness that has tried to literally destroy you, but you stand on the Word of God repeating this over and again to the enemy. Scripture teaches us that “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10), and you are done. You feel that even death itself would be a relief. As you are standing on your faith, you do not curse God the entire time, no matter how long your battle against the forces of darkness are (I just finished a two-year long battle for the kingdom and God prevailed). You become spent physically in your body, emotionally in your heart and spiritually against the forces of evil, all for the Father. Then, there is a breakthrough and much-needed sense of overwhelming relief. Victory has been realized. This is warfare of the purest nature and one that not many ever will embark upon as a follower of Christ. You see, you must be willing to lay down your life for God’s will to come to bear. Rev. 12:11 states “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
To be completely effective, you need to know what kind of spiritual wickedness you are dealing with. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12). Timing is crucial for the battle (God’s timing). Always be led by revelation, not imagination. Do not overstep your boundaries. And when His divine will (through you and the circumstance) has been accomplished, then will the victory come. If in fact, God has chosen you to this lifestyle, you had better make certain that you know what you are going to be up against. Many do not and quit too early, not being able to go the distance. Evil prevails. What you have read is somewhat the role of an intercessor. Are you one?
In God’s kingdom, there are many tasks that only the Holy Spirit assigns. You CANNOT call yourself anything without the knowledge and power of the Holy Spirit. Gifts are assigned by heaven alone. You cannot make yourself something you are not called to be, or it certainly will not last and the daylight will eventually reveal the truth. God does confirm His true word and intentions by tangible signs. Continued tangible victories are the indicator of the path of an intercessor. This life is not to be taken lightly. It is a serious calling.
Many have a hard time trusting God for much of anything, but my question to you today is can God trust YOU with what He longs to give to you? God spoke to Jeremiah and told him “Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know” (Jer.33:3). But the key to this is trust, not can you trust God to show up for your agenda, but can God trust you with the deepest things of heaven?
Remember: you serve an audience of one. Scripture teaches in Psalm 8:4 “What is man that you are mindful of him?” Discover what God has called you to and then go after that with all your being. You cannot make your own path and destiny. God does not show up in the plans You have created, unless they are His will. Passion will show you your destiny.
